To everyone who reads this guestbook please take a couple of minutes to write down your thoughts. This last couple of weeks have been hard on the family as they lost a close young family friend. I know the family would like to hear that they are in everyones thoughts. To the Benton family. As the two year anniversary of Jennifer death approaches I just wanted you all to know that your in my thoughts every day. I wish I had known her. I feel that I get to know her through the stories Karen tells me about what a wonderful young women she was. I know someday I will meet her. Take care.

Thank you for the web site, though I'm so sorry it had to come to be through the loss of such a beautiful young woman. I'm heading up to High Sierra tomorrow and Jennifer will be in my thoughts as I drive with my friends. I printed the fact sheet to share with people while I am up there. Thank you so much for helping keep people safe!

Dear friends, I would like to take this opportunity and tell you all how much I love each of you. We are fortunate to have found each other, to have spent time with each other, to have made an impact on eachother's lives! Our meeting was not by accident, we were born to meet eachother. I am happy to have met and spent time with each of you. I cannot wait till we cross paths again! I cannot wait till we laugh, smile, hug, tell stories, and then laugh about those stories! I am so happy that you are all in my life! With that said, I would like to share with you what I am dealing with. I have not been saddened like I am now since Jen Benton passed away 2 years ago. I have been in Phoenix on and off since last Wednesday. My Nana (grandmother) has been in the ICU at Maryvale Hospital in Phoenix since last Tuesday. Due to many different factors, knee surgeries, 4 months in physical rehabilitation, her body is giving out. She has an enlarged heart, an infection in her lungs, and it is too much for her to fight. My mother called me tonight to tell me they were taking her off life-support. I am so sad. My Nana helped raise me. Because of her I learned Spanish before I learned English. She walked me to the bus stop everyday before school when I was in Kindergarten and first grade, and she waited for me at the bus stop when I got home in Kindergarten and in first grade. Everyday when we got home she piled up a plate of Nilla Wafers for me, and a huge glass of cold Milk! She is the sweetest, most loving woman I have ever known. So, I hope I see you all next week Horning's Hideout. I just don't know if it will happen. If not, know that I am with you in spirit and know that I will be with you as soon as I can (hopefully at Coventry). This is so hard for me, I cannot even explain this in words. Take care of each other and know that I always am thinking of you and loving you. sincerely, manny www.drivingforjennifer.com

Hi, I just found out about this site from Valerie W, with whom I work with. Unfotunatley Jennifer and I had lost touch, however I am lucky to have known her. She will always be in some of my most sweetest memories. I can vividly recall her beutiful face with those trade mark dimples, and her beutiful heart, she was truly a wonderful person. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones, she will always be in my prayers.

My heart hurts for Jennifer and her family. It is a wonderful thing you are doing to get the word out about sleep depravation and driving, it is just as dangerous as drinking and driving. Thanks to Ellen this has now made it to Oklahoma. Keep up the good work and know that Jennifer is smiling down on you now.

I don't really know Jennifer however it is obvious she was and continues to be a very special person. This site is a wonderful creation; very warming and touching. It also serves a great purpose in creating awareness to this type of driving situation as well as to remind us of the importance of those that we love. It is amazing how Jennifer is able to touch the hearts of people through this site, even people she never knew. To Karen Benton: I read your insert from 11/21/2003. Just remember that Jennifer is with you, she always will be. A piece of her soul lives within you, just as a piece of yours lives within her. You will always be together. Together your souls enjoy a happiness that is unmatched and eternal. So remember, whenever you feel alone, your not. Smile knowing that.

Although I dont know your family, my heart goes out to you. I was given this website from a freind, who asked me to look at it. It cut me right to the bone, as I have a child now. Even though my son, Jacob, is only 1 yr old, I know that this could just as easily happen to me, or even him, down the road. Web sites like these will help me with my son when the time comes, as well as for me now! Thank you so much for the information. I dont think enough people think about things like this. Keep up the good work and hopefully it will reach everyone! Its already made it to Texas! May God Bless you!

I really don't know anyone that was involved and probably would have never heard about it if I couldn't sleep last night and was watching the news while they were talking about this topic. My heart and prayers go out to everyone that was involved. Upon hearing this I have started to think... you never know who's not going to be there tomorrow so always tell your loved ones that you love them...even if you're angry with them

Just heard about this web site and Jennifer on the news. It's a terrible tragedy. It made me stop and think about the numerous times that I've driven while tired and pushed myself to get to where I wanted to go and how I always caution my husband to not do what I've done so many times. This web site and your efforts in Jennifer's memory are going to bring awareness that tragedies like this do happen to good people. You are going to save so many lives...
